Zeekr 9X Ultra 6-Seater: The Swedish-designed Chinese ultra-luxury SUV redefines the premium segment
With 897 HP, recharging in 9 and a half minutes and an interior worthy of a private jet, the new Zeekr flagship debuts on the European market.
GOTHENBURG / BUCHAREST – The premium brand within the Geely group continues its accelerated expansion on the European continent by launching the fifth model in its portfolio in just three years of presence. The new Zeekr 9X, presented for European markets in the top Ultra 6-Seater configuration, was designed directly at the global design center in Gothenburg (Sweden). The model represents an uncompromising approach to the luxury SUV segment, combining supercar performance with cutting-edge technology.
Top performance on a 900V architecture
Beneath the sculpted lines of the bodywork lies a dual-hybrid powertrain built on an advanced 900V electrical architecture. The combination develops a total output of 897 hp, enough to propel the massive SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h.
Energy efficiency and practical long-distance use are the main pillars of the new model:
- Ultra-fast charging: The battery charges from 10% to 80% in just 9 and a half minutes at ultra-fast DC stations.
- Extended autonomy: With the help of the 2.0-liter turbocharged thermal engine operating as a generator (range extender), the total combined autonomy reaches 737 kilometers.
- Load and towing capacity: The boot offers a generous 677 litres of volume, which can be expanded to 2,148 litres. In addition, the car has a towing capacity of up to 2,000 kg.
Technological sanctuary: From Naim hi-fi to cinema on four wheels
On the inside, the Zeekr 9X forgoes extreme minimalism in favor of spectacular tactile and digital luxury.
The driving position integrates a 47-inch Head-Up Display windshield, a 13-inch dedicated multimedia screen with anti-reflective treatment and a 16-inch central OLED screen with 3.5K resolution. Active safety and driving assistance are managed by a system based on LiDAR sensors, developed and tested specifically for European roads.
The strong point is the acoustic experience: the Zeekr 9X comes standard with an audio system developed in partnership with prestigious brands such as Naim, with 32 speakers integrated into the passenger compartment (including in the headrests of the seats).
Cinematic experience for passengers: The second row benefits from individual captain seats with full massage, heating and ventilation functions. A 17-inch flip-up screen descends from the suede-like microfiber ceiling. When the screen is lowered, the privacy blinds automatically close and the ambient lighting synchronizes with the video content to recreate the atmosphere of a private cinema.
For the additional comfort of rear passengers, the console integrates a refrigerator and two 6.3-inch touchscreens, through which the climate control, lighting, seat position and multimedia system can be adjusted. The cabin is upholstered in fine Nappa leather, and is accessorized with a crystal rotary selector and premium physical controls.
The attention to detail is also reflected in the exterior customization options: the model is available in Crystal White, Lava Gray and Onyx Black, with the option to opt for the Black Pack exterior package in glossy black finish.
Price and availability on the Romanian market
The expansion of the Zeekr brand in Eastern Europe is taking place gradually. In Romania, although the direct network of official dealerships is being expanded, the brand's models are marketed and delivered through independent premium vehicle partners and dealers.
- Estimated price: In European markets and at authorized dealers, the price of the new Zeekr 9X Ultra 6-Seater is estimated to be between EUR 125,000 and EUR 140,000 (including VAT), depending on the exterior options and equipment packages selected.
- Availability: Deliveries for European customers will begin in the coming period, and customers in Romania can place pre-orders through importers specializing in the premium and electric car segment.
