Jeep Avenger 2027: The American recipe for success receives a technological facelift and a spectacular anniversary edition
Jeep continues its offensive in the compact SUV segment with the official launch of the new Avenger 2027. The model, which has already become a central pillar for the American manufacturer in Europe, benefits from a major update targeting design, cabin quality and diversification of the engine range. Since its debut in 2023, the Avenger has convinced over 270,000 customers, demonstrating that the Jeep spirit can be successfully adapted for the urban jungle, especially in markets like Italy, where it dominates the sales charts.
New visual identity: Matrix LED lighting and retro accents
The most visible change to the exterior is found at the front. The new Jeep Avenger facelift adopts a modern philosophy, integrating for the first time adaptive LED Matrix technology, which promises significantly superior visibility in night conditions. The legendary seven-slot grille has been subtly revised and is now illuminated, providing an unmistakable light signature in traffic.
The lower part of the bumper has been restyled, and the 4xe hybrid version receives distinctive elements such as red accents and the “Jeep Shield” protective shield. To honor the brand’s history, the new 17- and 18-inch wheels hide a detail for hardcore fans: center caps with a design inspired by the famous Jeep Willys. The color palette is completed by the shades “Forest” and “Bamboo”, which can be matched with a contrasting black roof.
Refined interior: Emphasis on soft-touch materials
While the onboard technology remains centered on the 10.25-inch screen and the versatility of the 34 liters of storage space, Jeep has worked hard on the perception of quality. Critical touch points, such as the door panels and the lower area of the dashboard, are now covered in softer, more pleasant-to-the-touch materials.
The higher trims, Altitude and Summit, switch to premium vinyl-woven textiles, while the 4xe variant features an “outdoor-friendly” green interior with durable and easy-to-clean upholstery, ideal for those who use the car on nature escapades. A touch of sportiness is brought by the Selec-Terrain button, now finished in red and rubberized for better grip.
Engine range: From classic petrol to 4xe all-wheel drive
Jeep responds to market demand by diversifying the options under the hood:
- Turbo 100: A new 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder gasoline engine that develops 101 HP and 205 Nm. It is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, making it the ideal solution for those who prefer mechanical simplicity.
- e-Hybrid: The 48V mild-hybrid system combines a 110 HP engine (Miller cycle) with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, offering a balance between low consumption and urban comfort.
- 4xe (AWD): The star of the off-road range has 145 hp and all-wheel drive. The innovation lies in the electrified rear axle, capable of delivering an impressive torque of up to 1900 Nm to overcome difficult obstacles.
- Avenger EV: The fully electric version retains the 156 HP engine and 54 kWh battery, ensuring a range of 400 km in WLTP mode, enough for weekly commutes and weekend outings.
85 Years of Adventure: Anniversary Edition
The launch of the facelift coincides with a historical milestone: 85 years since the appearance of the first Jeep. To mark the occasion, the manufacturer has created an exclusive limited edition. It stands out with anniversary emblems on the wings, rims and bumpers with gold finishes and a graphic sticker on the hood. Inside, the “Gold” theme continues with contrasting stitching and embroidered logos on the seats specific to this series.
With a 380-liter trunk and a clearly structured equipment range (Longitude, Altitude, Summit for 2WD and Upland, Overland for 4WD), the new Jeep Avenger 2027 consolidates its leading position in the B-SUV segment, offering a rare blend of iconic style, modern technology and real everyday escape capabilities.
Availability and estimated prices in Romania
The new Jeep Avenger 2027 will continue to be produced at the Stellantis plant in Tychy, Poland, a unit that serves the entire European market. Although the official price lists for Romania will be communicated towards the end of 2026, we can anticipate a slight increase in prices compared to the current generation, justified by the new technological features (LED Matrix headlights, 360 system) and the superior materials in the cabin.
Here is an estimate of starting prices for the local market:
- Petrol (1.2 Turbo 100 HP): The entry-level version will remain the most affordable entry point into the Jeep universe. We can expect a starting price of around 23,500 – 24,500 euros (VAT included) for the Longitude trim.
- e-Hybrid (MHEV 48V): This variant, which offers the advantage of an automatic transmission and reduced consumption in the city, will range around 27,000 - 29,000 euros.
- 4xe (All-Wheel Drive): Being a version focused on off-road performance and having a complex propulsion system, the estimated price will start from approximately 35,000 - 37,000 euros, being available in higher trim levels such as Upland or Overland.
- Avenger EV (Electric): The zero-emission variant will remain the most expensive, with an estimated list price between 41,000 and 43,000 euros. However, through the Rabla Plus program, the net purchase price for customers in Romania could decrease significantly.
Launch and Anniversary Edition
The first units of the facelift are expected to arrive in Romanian showrooms in the first quarter of 2027.
The special edition "85th Anniversary", which marks the history started by Jeep Willys, will likely be available for a limited time and will be positioned as a top variant. Given the gold finishes and exclusive features, it could add an additional 2,500-3,500 euros on top of the price of a standard Summit trim.
Orders for the Romanian market could officially open in the fall of 2026, offering customers the opportunity to configure the new exterior shades and revised interior finishes.
