AFM has opened registrations for Rabla 2026. Greater funds for new cars
The Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) has officially launched registrations for this year's edition of the Rabla 2026 program. Starting today, at 10:00, individuals interested in purchasing a new vehicle at a reduced price can submit their registration applications. This year's session comes with additional funds and clearly defined thresholds for each vehicle category.
The new program benefits from a total budget of 300 million lei, an amount higher than the previous edition. The registration session will remain open until December 31 or until the budget ceiling is fully exhausted.
Value of eco-tickets in 2026
The financing grid offered by the state is structured according to the emission level and technology of the chosen vehicle, particularly encouraging ecological options:
- 18,500 lei for the purchase of a 100% electric or hydrogen-powered car;
- 15,000 lei for a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) hybrid vehicle or for an electric motorcycle;
- 12,000 lei for a car with conventional hybrid propulsion;
- 10,000 lei for a vehicle with a thermal engine, powered by LPG, or for a motorcycle.
During the current session, an individual can request a maximum of two eco-tickets, thus offering the possibility of trading in up to two old cars for the purchase of new vehicles.
