Ferrari 12Cilindri Tailor Made: A Masterpiece Between Maranello and Seoul

Ferrari has once again proven that its cars can transcend engineering, becoming true works of art. Recently, Ferrari Centro Stile customization division unveiled a one-off model based on the new 12Cilindri model, a creation that celebrates South Korean aesthetics through an unprecedented collaboration with four local artists.

Visual Symphony “Yoonseul”

The name chosen for this project, Yoonseul, comes from a Korean term that describes the reflection of the sun or moon on the surface of water. The bodywork is finished in a special iridescent shade that combines the tradition of Celadon ceramics (pale green shades) with the vibrant modernism of Seoul, reflecting the neon lights specific to the Asian metropolis.

The interior is where Korean craftsmanship comes to life:

  • Dahye Jeong: The artist contributed to the design of the seams and textures, using motifs inspired by traditional Korean art.
  • 3D Technology: The interior upholstery uses three-dimensional materials, developed by a specialized company in South Korea.
  • Unique details: The Ferrari logos have been reinterpreted with translucent techniques, and in the trunk there is a traditional Korean chest, handmade for this example.

Performance and Exclusivity

Under this artistic "coat", the heart remains unchanged: a 6.5-liter V12 engine, naturally aspirated, delivering 830 HP.

  • 0-100 km/h: 2.9 seconds
  • Top speed: over 340 km/h

Availability and price: Being a Tailor Made project, this one has already been sold to a private collector. Although the official price has not been announced (as is the case with most one-off projects), experts estimate that this model will cost well over 1 million euros, given that the production model starts at around 400,000 euros, and extreme customization and one-off status double or even triple this value.

Ferrari in Romania: A New Era Under Canadian Management

The luxury market in Romania is going through a major change in 2025-2026. The historic importer, Forza Rossa, has handed over operations to the Canadian group Holand Automotive Group, which now manages the official Ferrari Bucharest dealership in Otopeni.

Sales and Popular Models

Romania remains one of the most dynamic markets in the region for the “Praise Horse”. The most sought-after models at the moment are:

  1. Ferrari Purosangue: The brand's first SUV (or FUV - Ferrari Utility Vehicle) is the absolute champion in demand, with waiting lists stretching back 2 years.
  2. Ferrari 296 GTB / GTS: The V6 hybrid model has become very popular due to its versatility and hypercar performance.
  3. Ferrari Roma / Roma Spider: The favorite of those looking for the elegance of "La Nuova Dolce Vita".

Indicative prices on the local market

Prices for new models vary significantly depending on the options chosen, but here are some starting points:

  • Ferrari Roma: from approx. €220,000
  • Ferrari 296 GTB: from approx. €280,000
  • Ferrari 12Cilindri: from approx. €395,000
  • Ferrari Purosangue: from approx. €400,000 (but on the second-hand market with 0 km, the price can exceed €600,000 due to the immense demand).

The pre-owned market (Ferrari Approved) is also extremely active in Romania, with many examples having driven less than 5,000 km and being sold at list prices or even higher for limited edition models.

Conclusion: Between collector's art and commercial success

The appearance of the 12Cylinder Tailor Made "Yoonseul" model reconfirms the fact that Ferrari is no longer just a sports car manufacturer, but an automotive "haute couture" workshop. The collaboration with Korean artists demonstrates the brand's ability to absorb diverse cultures and translate them into metal and leather, offering collectors not only speed, but also a unique cultural identity.

At the same time, the brand's effervescence at a global level is perfectly reflected in the Romanian market. The transition to new Canadian management and the constant appetite of local customers for exclusive models such as Purosangue or 12Cilindri show that, despite prices starting from several hundred thousand euros, the fascination for the "Praise Horse" remains at its highest levels. Whether we are talking about unique examples sold at closed auctions or about the hybrid models that are starting to dominate the streets of Bucharest, Ferrari manages to remain the ultimate standard of luxury and performance in the vision of enthusiasts in Romania.
