The new BMW M2 xDrive can be ordered in Romania: Prices and specifications for the first M2 with all-wheel drive
Great news for horsepower and pure dynamics enthusiasts in Romania. The smallest and often most rebellious member of the BMW M family receives, for the first time, the brand's intelligent all-wheel drive system. The new BMW M2 xDrive is officially available for order on the local market, promising to redefine the standards of grip and acceleration in the high-performance coupé segment.
Faster, more precise: xDrive changes the rules of the game
Until recently, the recipe for a BMW M2 was simple and purist: powerful engine in the front, rear-wheel drive only. The new xDrive version keeps the sporty DNA intact, but adds a massive boost in efficiency on the tarmac.
Under the hood we find the well-established 3.0-liter, inline-6 engine, capable of developing no less than 480 horsepower. But the real magic happens when the electronics and the all-wheel drive system put these horses to work:

This system introduces a pre-chamber ignition technology. Its role is dual: on the one hand it optimizes the air-fuel mixture to ensure lower gasoline consumption in normal driving mode, and on the other hand it drastically reduces polluting emissions. Thus, the 480 HP engine manages to comply with the new and strict Euro 7 pollution standards.
